Natasha Silver
Early Career Specialist

I started coaching with iGrow Careers during a difficult period. I was looking to transition career while also dealing with some personal problems (not to mention the care of a 1-year-old). Despite my successes, including appointments at prestigious American and English universities, I was anxious about my prospects and daunted by the maze of different career paths. Veronika coached me, explaining what different employers were looking for and giving me useful advice on how to manage the interview process. She treated my situation holistically, helping me get into a more optimistic space. I recommend her services in the highest terms, she’s an exceptional psychologist with a human touch.

As a freelancer, I sometimes struggle with motivation and lose sight of what is important. Veronika helped me define my goals and the steps I needed to take to achieve them. She balanced being supportive with holding me to account, ensuring things actually got done.
Veronika is a credible coach because she has a solid background in both psychology and business. She works with the whole person – their work, life and health – and was able to unlock my productivity by helping me deal with emotional issues.

I worked in the BBC assessment team with Veronika. She is an experienced assessment psychologist with a genuine interest and care for the candidates. Veronika always took time to give thorough and helpful feedback to anyone who asked for it. She worked a lot on diversity and inclusion issues, providing real and actionable solutions.

I would highly recommend iGrow Careers to anyone seeking to advance their career.
I applied for an executive level role at the Metropolitan Police (London) which included multiple interviews and assessments. Veronika was extremely professional, thorough and knowledgeable during our coaching sessions. She reviewed my personality, skills experience and the job requirements, and prepared a realistic assessment rehearsal. She prepared a clear development report telling me how I can build on my strengths and mitigate areas of development. Veronika set pre-work “thinking” ahead of the sessions, which involved identifying work-placed examples that demonstrated conceptual thinking, emotional awareness and creativity. This provided additional context for the sessions, aiding personal insights. The feedback report from the one-to-one structured coaching sessions helped me to understand preferred approaches to work based situations, specific strengths and areas of potential risk in leadership style.
All in all, a highly cost-effective package which ultimately helped me to pass an assessment centre for future executive roles.

Veronika and I worked together at Sainsbury’s where she was our in-house Occupational Psychologist and assessment expert. We worked on several progressive recruitment projects including introducing a new approach to spotting diverse and talented managers in retail. I also observed that she did a nice job designing and delivering several solutions for our head office including:
– Executive leadership assessment
– Graduate and apprenticeship assessment
– Hi-potential development centre
– Online interview tool
Veronika coupled a deep knowledge of psychological principles and assessment with pragmatism. She sought out and acted on stakeholder priorities and feedback. Overall, Veronika left a positive legacy at Sainsbury’s because her solutions had integrity, were valid and fit for purpose in a fast-paced business environment.
